1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Kindred Reels, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Kindred Reels is a platform for creating collaborative tribute videos. Users can upload photos, invite contributors to record voice memories, and generate video tributes.

3. Beta Service

Kindred Reels is currently in beta. The service is provided "as is" and may change, be interrupted, or contain bugs. We are working to improve the service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability during this period.

4. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts

5. User Content

• You retain ownership of all photos and recordings you upload
• You grant Kindred Reels a license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service
• You represent that you have the right to upload any content you submit
• You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate consent from individuals appearing in photos or recordings

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Violate the privacy or intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Use the service for unauthorized commercial purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the service
• Use automated tools to access the service without permission

7. Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms without prior notice. We may terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our policies.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your data.

9. Third-Party Services

By using the YouTube upload feature in Kindred Reels, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

10. Intellectual Property

Kindred Reels and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Kindred Reels LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kindred Reels LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
